As you’ve no doubt heard, Portland offers a staggering array of places to eat, drink, and experience…but you might find it difficult to leave the peace and comfort of the lovely Luna Serena. Situated just off Interstate 5 near the airport and a convenient jaunt from downtown, this two-story home recently underwent extensive upgrades both inside and out.

The gleaming kitchen includes everything you might need during your stay, whether you want to make a gourmet meal or whip up a smoothie in the Vitamix. And there’s a handy gas grill right on the back deck as well. The house’s open floor plan lets you socialize during meal prep, and you can choose to eat either at the dining room table or out on the deck.

Luna Serena sleeps four, with two bedrooms and a full bathroom upstairs plus a half-bathroom on the main floor. One bedroom features a queen-sized bed and the other a new high-quality convertible sleeper. You can wrap yourself in luxury, from the oversized bath towels to the beds’ plush linens. And you’ll sleep well no matter what the conditions outside, thanks to the central air conditioning.

This home makes the most of its gorgeous yard by giving you great vantage points in both the front and back. Enjoy watching the world go by from your perch on the upright hammock, bench, or chairs up on the sunny front porch. Shade seekers will love stretching out on the full-size hammock underneath the porch and drifting off to the sound of the nearby water feature. The back deck is the perfect spot to relax with some of Portland’s famous coffee, beer, or wine.

The living room’s built-in fireplace and bookshelves—not to mention its luxurious leather couch—will beckon when the weather brings you inside. In the mood for some television? Stream TV and movies using the Roku system, enhanced by the state-of-the-art Sonos audio system. If you need to do a bit of laundry, the house’s front-loading washer and dryer will make it easy. Speaking of easy, the neighborhood has plenty of off-street parking when you return from your explorations of Portland and its environs.

Perhaps this home’s greatest charm is the way the colorful artwork, furnishings, and other details reflect the owner’s Puerto Rican heritage. You’ll appreciate her eye and attention to detail, and you may even find yourself loving Luna Serena as much as she does !

    it is always nicer to stay in a home than a hotel especially when you don't want to eat out all the time and want a nice place to hang out with your family or friends. This place is warm,inviting and clean. The bed was comfortable however the bedrooms are small and simple. There is only one main bath and it is VERY small so be prepared to get close to your guests. The door code system made it very easy to come and go with no headaches of having to set up times to meet owners or managers.

      This home is very convenient to the airport as well as downtown, the Pearl District, Mississippi Ave, and the Alberta Arts District. While the bedrooms are on the small side, the main living space and kitchen are rather spacious (providing plenty of room for hanging out with friends and family). Although there is one main bathroom, sized for one person at a time, there is a 1/2 bathroom as well. Our electronic lock allows for easy access without having to retrieve and keep track of keys during your stay. We look forward to welcoming you again to Portland!
